as a new motheri felt helpless..why do my kids know more??

I am a relatively new grandparent...I wanna be called Jamma as we have plenty of nanas and grandmas as well as grandpas and papas in our family [and I feel it sounds cute!]. I'd like this blog to be a place where we can discuss the difference between our child rearing and that of previous and current parents. One topic to start with is babies sleeping on their side/face/back...let's look at science to support what parents should follow! That may help us! My jamchild has reflux and has got gastro which she nicely shared with EVERYONE in the family. How are you going as new a grandparent?
